Apartment Fire 183 columbia street

On August 12, 2000, a five-alarm fire broke out at my apartment rendering the 24-bedroom building completely uninhabitable. The cause of the fire was a neighbor's careless disposal of a cigarette, by stuffing it into a hole in the wall of the 110-year old wooden structure. These photos are from my experiences surrounding the fire and its ramifications.
